The goals and objectives of this organization are to

1. Promote a rich experience for Elwood students, so they can prosper academically, socially, and emotionally.
2. Raise the teaching profession standards.
3. Foster the professional growth of the Elwood Teachers Alliance members.
4. Advance the aims and objectives of the New York State United Teachers and the American Federation of Teachers.
5. Cultivate a bond between Elwood teachers and the community based on our shared values and goals.
